New York City - 2008

Shelly had a one day Seminar in New York on "Anti Money Laundering" Jed tagged along and they had a little bit of spare time to take in the sites of NYC and take in a few of the attractions that New York City affords, including - the "American Girl" store, Times Square, a somewhat closeup of the "Statue of Liberty", the New York Subway, Etc. Etc.

It rained pretty much the entire time we were there. So, we didn't get too many pictures. But we got a few none the less. We took a city tour on the gray line tour bus, so once again, enjoy the pictures.

Fire House 10 is right across the street from ground zero. What would a trip to New York City be without a stop at one of the firehouses, at least with Jed along? (by the way, it is the only fire house whose truck and engine are the same number - that being "10").

We rode the Staten Island Ferry over the Staten Island and back, as it gave us a much closer view of Lady Liberty. What a great site, and reminder of this wonderful land we live in. I am grateful to be an American!

The outside of the new "Yankee Stadium" It is right across the street from the "Cathedral of Baseball", that being the old Yankee Stadium. The picture of Shelly on the bottom is in the business offices of the old Yankee Stadium, and let me add "I want to thank the Good Lord for making me a Yankee Fan"

The "7" train coming down the subway tunnel.
